Leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills has announced the promotion of six new partners in Asia, as part of a 27-partner global promotion round.

The new partners are based in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore and Tokyo, with all promotions effective 1 May 2024.

This year's promotions also include two new partners at the firm's longstanding Indonesian associate firm Hiswara, Bunjamin & Tandjung in Jakarta.

The six new partners promoted at Herbert Smith are: Christopher Clay, Lucy Curran, Dandy Firmansyah, Murphy Mok, Tedy Rachmanto and Michelle Virgiany.
