Karan Bajaj,the founder and CEO of Mumbai-based edtech startup WhiteHat Jr, has left the company to move on to new paths, according his announcement on Linkedin.
This move come after online education platform Byju's acquired coding platform WhiteHat Jrin an all-cash deal worth $30 million last year.
“As I move on to new paths, my deep gratitude to 17,000+employees and teachers who weren't a part of my life just two years ago,”Bajaj said.
Trupti Mukker,Bajaj's classmate from the Indian Institute of Management, will be taking over as the platform's CEO.
Founded in November 2018, the edtech startup helps kids aged 614 build commercial-ready games, animations, and apps online using the fundamentals of coding.
