Paul Hastings has welcomed rising finance lawyer Stephen Gruendel to its New York office, further strengthening its market-leading global finance practice.

Gruendel advise leading institutional investors, investment banks and commercial banks on a wide range of transactions, with a particular focus on private credit, syndicated finance and high yield debt issuance. He has previously represented a number of investment institutions and asset managers, including Golub Capital, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Chase.

Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Gruendel worked at Shearman & Sterling. He also practiced law with Cahill, Gordon & Reindel.
