Linklaters announced the promotion of two partners, Alex Roberts from its Shanghai office and Verity Egerton-Doyle from its London office, effective 1 December.
Alex Roberts has over 11 years of extensive business experience in China, deeply engaged in the field of cybersecurity and data protection in China, often advising on digitalization and data issues and the increasing convergence between technology, data and ESG.
Verity Egerton-Doyle has over a decade of experience in advisory, investigation, as well as transactions involving EU and UK competition law. She regularly provides legal services on high-profile technology sector deals, including: representing SONY PlayStation in a £5bn abuse of dominant position competition class action; Viasat's US $7.3 billion acquisition of Inmarsat in the UK antitrust review, among other services.
