Barclays is restructuring its Hong Kong and India teams amid the impending departure of two senior executives, according to an internal memo.

Anthony Davies, chief executive of Barclays' Hong Kong branch, will retire in September after 13 years at the bank, confirmed memos show.

A separate memo revealed that Taranjit Jaswal, head of corporate banking in India, will leave after eight years in the job.

Barclays has appointed Rachel Huf, currently general counsel, as chief executive of its Hong Kong branch, while Vijay Santhanam will take over as head of corporate banking in India. As part of the changes, Chintan Thattey, who joined Barclays two years ago, has been appointed head of the Risk Solutions group in India.
