Paul Hastings has announced that top lawyers Dana Syracuse and Josh Boehm have joined the firm as partners in its Fintech and Payments practice, based in its New York office.
Both partners previously worked at Perkins Coie LLP.
Syracuse focuses on the blockchain, fintech, e-commerce and financial services industries, with a focus on business and regulatory issues related to the custody and trading of digital assets. He also works for clients on complex banking regulatory issues in the areas of data privacy and cybersecurity, anti-money laundering, bank secrecy law and consumer protection.
Boehm's practice focuses on regulatory and commercial issues involving fintech, with a focus on products and services based on blockchain technology. He not only has a nationally leading practice in assisting digital asset companies with special purpose banking and trust licensing issues, but also has advised a range of retail, entertainment and technology companies that have incorporated digital assets into their "web 3" strategies.
